DESCRIPTION:Time\n\n\nSaturday\, November 8\n8:30am – 12pm PST\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\n361 Francisco St\n\nSan Francisco\, CA 94133\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin San Francisco Public Works for a day of greening and neighborhood pride in District 3 (North Beach\, Russian Hill\, and more). \nThere will be 7-10 worksites where volunteers will garden\, mulch\, pick up litter\, plant trees\, or abate graffiti. The projects and tasks will be different\, depending on the site and community group’s requests. \nWhat to Expect\n\nThe event kicks off at Francisco Middle School yard (361 Francisco St) with registration between 8:30 AM and 9 AM.\nWe’ll hold a short speaking program to go over the day’s activities and get a quick safety overview.\nVolunteers and Public Works staff then will head to their assigned work sites.\nWork will take place for about 3 hours\, with everyone returning to the kickoff location around noon.\nSandwiches will be served to volunteers.\n\nWhat to Wear/Bring\n\nDress in layers\nWear closed toe shoes and sunscreen\nBring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated\n\nCommunity Partners\nSan Francisco Public Works\, Elected Officials\, San Francisco Unified School District\, SF Department of Environment
