SFMTA is proposing putting transit lanes in place where the 1 California bus runs throughout Nob Hill. If passed this will limit parking, increase the frequency of bus travel and place limitations on automobile travel in certain sections of the bus route. SFMTA states that this is a currently being proposed as temporary measure but hopes this eventually becomes a permanent change.
At the request of the NHA, SFMTA is hosting a stakeholder meeting where persons affected by this proposal can learn more about it and offer their comments. The meeting will be held over Zoom on February 18th.
